New York Novels Class in Amsterdam

A few of the attendees for the New York Novels Workshop Sat. Nov 26, 2011

If you missed the New York Novel Writers Workshop last Saturday in Amsterdam, then you missed a ton of writing info. Four hours of intense focus in the writing workshop on what it takes to submit a novel to a New York Publisher. The American Book Center-Treehous, a bookstore in Amsterdam, was a gracious host for our class, with some interesting artwork decorating the walls surrounding us.

I learned a bit, too, about the publishing industry in The Netherlands. Holland has some talented writers, and I was honored to meet quite a few during my month-long visit here. I hope to stay in touch with the new writer friends Ive made. (Sorry, coffee in the keyboard has murdered a few of my keys, like the apostrophe.)

I hope to return soon, but in the meantime, blijven schrijven!
